Houston Heights

Northwest of Downtown sits a section of historic neighborhoods that date back to the late 1800s. Residents once flocked to the area to escape the big city, but today it’s home to diverse Houstonians that are drawn to its rich and character-filled architecture, local shops and some of the best restaurants in the city.

If you want to go for a walk or run in the morning, the Heights has the Paul Carr jogging trail, which runs along the median of Heights Blvd. and connects to the 7th St. Hike & Bike Trail, which leads to other trails all over the city.
